This quickest type of approval. You are approved by completing fire and health inspections,
which are done by local officials. We
provide you with forms the inspector will complete and contact names of the
inspectors in your area. A
Neighborhood Child Care staff person will then come to your home for a visit.
Many providers start off with this type and work on one of the other
types. If you are already watching
children it would benefit you to get alternately approved right away since you
will then be able to receive the Child and Adult Care Food Program
reimbursement.
