TRAINING SCHEDULE
Thank you for your interest and patience while the status of certification
for professional Type B Family Child Care providers is being assessed. At this
time, Administrators at Cuyahoga County feel that the certified market is
saturated and do not feel that any more homes need to be certified at this time
However, there are alternative ways to be approved to do childcare in your
home. One of these is called Alternate Approval.
It allows you to care for privately paid children and non-paying friends and
relatives. It also allows you to participate in a food reimbursement program
called the CACFP (Child and Adult Food Program). Our
agency can help you achieve this approval and can sponsor you for the CACFP.
If you would like to contact us you can still obtain
information about the program. Please e-mail or call us about an
alternative way to do childcare. Sorry for the
inconvenience!
